National Acoustics was founded as a partnership by Noble P. Cowles and William R. Moller in 1939. Both men had prior professional experience with the Johns-Manville Organization, where they worked since 1926 and gained valuable industry knowledge. National Acoustics became a franchised application of National Gypsum Company in 1939. Early noteworthy projects of National Acoustics were the first United Nations Offices at Lake Success (1946) and the Manhattan Beach Naval Training Center (1946). Mr. Moller passed away in 1951 after a long illness and Mr.Cowles passed away in 1964.

National Acoustics prides itself on the tradition of promoting from within, each previous and current partner has come up through the effective structures in place. Learning, implementing and teaching these company traditions has made National Acoustics the industry leader it is today.

OPERATION NATIONAL ACOUSTICS

With apologies, we borrow and armed services' expression because we feel it so aptly lend itself to the services of our company. 

Yes, ours is an operation - an operation in the science of sound control and acoustical construction. Our own executive partners have been experienced in this field since 1926, and founded National Acoustics in 1939.

Since that time, we have completed thousands of jobs with our company know-how and adherence to a rigid policy of:

1. Maximum Service - based on a thorough preliminary job analysis, executive job supervision and a guarantee of satisfaction on job completion.

2. Superior Products - of the national Gypsum Company, the Ownes-Corning Fiberglass Company, the Simplex Ceiling Company. 

3. Job Protection - based on company trained supervisors and mechanics, complete insurance coverage and financial responsibility. 

Success in our business is measured is satisfied clients. We have been privileged to serves the finest - on contract jobs ranging in price from a few hundred dollars to over a quarter of a million.
